Classes with Jane are fantastic. Jane explains all of the exercises clearly and will also suggest adaptations if anyone needs them. An hour with Jane sets me up for the week!

I really enjoy Jane’s classes and have been attending for over seven years. The classes are good fun, during which we do a lot of progressive moves and stretches. Jane gives clear, concise instructions which are easy to follow.

I have been doing Pilates with Jane for over 6 years. Her mat classes and more recently her reformer classes have been a life saver for my physical and mental health. Pilates has restored my back after an operation, it keeps me supple and helps with the arthritis in the joints which I struggle with. I also feel re-energised and less stressed after each session. Jane is permanently revisiting her teaching, re-training herself and adding equipment into her studio which makes her classes really varied and beneficial to all her clients! Everyone of us needs help but for different reasons. In mat classes Jane will always make sure to adapt her exercises at different levels and in her studio she will definitely work with you on a more personal level either on a 1/1 or 1/2 basis. I personally like keeping up with both (mat and reformer) and always notice the difference in myself if I miss a session!! A very satisfied client !

I am nearing the end of my second year with Jane, as one of her private clients, and I still love every minute of our sessions together. The move to her new studio has been a great improvement giving Jane so much more space and the ability for her to purchase even more equipment, which is all of a very high quality, and which you feel very safe and comfortable using. The structure of my weekly sessions are always challenging but very rewarding and never two weeks are the same. I also find each week that I am learning something completely new and certainly with Jane's recent purchases of equipment and teaching, I am stretching myself ever further than I thought was possible. I am looking forward to my third year of Pilates and what it holds.

Zoom Classes

Jane and her classes have been nothing short of a lifesaver this past year, not that they weren't appreciated before this! During the pandemic, she has managed to consistently maintain an incredible variety of classes to suit all levels and cover multiple disciplines in Pilates. Even with the challenge of Zoom group classes, Jane has provided excellent individual direction on technique, with clear step by step tuition. Her classes have kept me sane, flexible and strong and as a result my fitness has greatly improved. I have made great progress and thanks to Jane have now mastered several exercises that previously proved too challenging. I cannot recommend JE Pilates highly enough'.

I would recommend Jane's pilates classes to everyone!

Jane's classes are great, some of the best pilates classes I have ever been to and I really enjoy them. I have really noticed a difference in muscle tone and strength and definition since attending regularly. She manages to pitch all the exercises at the right level for both beginners and advanced, enabling you to challenge yourself as you get better!!

Jane has made the transition to zoom classes easily and there doesn't feel like any difference between the real classes and zoom ones as she is very good at making corrections online!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Zoom classes despite a few technical problems at my end! Jane’s enthusiasm and energy is infectious!

I have really enjoyed zoom classes this term and they work brilliantly for me. It's great to exercise in the safety and security of my own home. You are a great teacher and really supportive during class which I find particularly helpful. You take us through the exercises seamlessly so that it feels as if each workout covers every part of the body. I feel invigorated for the rest of the day after my Friday class! I have suffered from back and hip problems over the last few months and I haven't been able to see a consultant because of the Covid related backlog. For a while I participated in the gentle exercise class for those returning from injury but this term I've been enjoying the more challenging class and the opportunity to stretch myself where and when I can, missing out on the more strenuous moves if they are beyond my ability. I have gained much from Pilates during the lockdowns - physically through learning to stretch, stand tall and lift correctly, and mentally by focussing on my inner self, breathing and relaxing. Thank you for your fantastic zoom Pilates classes!

Jane is a true professional. Her classes are varied and no two classes are the same - which is great as it keeps you on your toes and makes you concentrate - the hour just flies by. What I have found very important - especially with the zoom classes is the way she clearly explains the movement - making you check yourself - chin to chest, breathing - in and out and not forgetting to breathe, legs at right angles, in neutral, palms facing each other etc. And when you get it wrong - she tells you! And after the class - you always feel better than when you started. Although Hall classes are best - Jane's zoom classes have provided a fantastic alternative during lockdown. Well done Jane!

Your classes have really suited me, I am happy with Zoom and I think you do well to give us individual attention despite not being in the same room. I think you are thorough and safe and give excellent descriptions of each exercise so that we get the benefit from each manoeuvre. Thank you!
